I guess they did, and you're probably right that Mother 3 will, I hope it does. But regardless of what the demand for Earthbound Beginnings was, it was gonna make them money because it cost next to nothing to get out there since they were just sitting on that translation for decades . I did hear about the Xenoblade X bust size customization removal. Thanks a lot Anita Sarkeesian lol, but in all seriousness I don't mind too much, I genuinely do almost automatically begin to take things less seriously when they start getting too fanservice heavy. The answer to this problem: Make porno games less taboo! That way we have an outlet for our mindless fanservice and shit and normal games can avoid needing that! Also, from what I understand DQ VIII was released here but the PS2 version is pretty expensive on the used market nowadays. A lot of games of that generation that weren't super mainstream are these days.

I think Skyward Sword HD should've been a Wii U launch title, let's face it, lack of a Zelda game hurt the Wii U early on and that was kind of a solution for the Wii right? But anyway I think they remade/remastered everything else already so why not? Don't see too much point in HD versions of the 2D ones so it's all that's left. As for Skyward Sword's hate, I think it's a combination of general Nintendo hate going around right now, Wii hate from more hardcore dude-bro gamers who saw it as a "casual machine" or whatever and that it's graphics were a generation behind, some people hate the motion controls too. As for FF VII, I really don't have much to say of it quite honestly, I haven't played it in a VERY long time, may have to revisit it someday. I definitely thought it was a nicely built world and I thought the whole mix of sci-fi and traditional Tolkien-esque swords and sorcery was pretty cool. Really like it's artstyle too, although the PS1 generally hasn't aged well so I guess that won't have held up but that's about all I really remember of it.
