Been playing Persona games since the 11th november. First Persona 3 FES, then ultimax, and lastly Persona q. It's nothing I planned, honestly. It just kinda happened. Boy, am I glad it did! One of the best months in gaming I've had in a long time, and that's comming from someone who hasn't gone into alpha sapphire and Smash Wii U yet. 100% Persona q's fault on that.
So what did I think of Persona q, then? It's a fanservice game, nothing more. Aigis can equip Yoshitsune and perform orgia mode boosted Hassou tobis, what more do you need to know? Seriously, Debilitate the enemy, Heat riser Aigis, Power charge, orgia mode, Hassou tobi, 8 strikes dealing about a thousand damage a piece. It makes any fight anticlimactic. It's how I pwned the final boss. It's a shame the Persona 3 didn't interact much with Aigis in the P3 side of the story. Still, it's a fun spin-off and feels like a Persona game all things considered. It played well, the music was superb, the character interactions were really good even if they were out of character at times. Recommended for the fans only. Keep your sense of humor intact when you get it.
Yes, I picked the P3 side. Screw 4, Persona 3 for life. Not really, but y'know.
I hereby declare november "Persona month", and 11th november "Persona day". All to comemorate this crazy month I've had. Or rather, 3 weeks. It's by no means a holiday, but meant to bring attention to this great series, unless they screw it up. Autumn goes well with the madness that is Persona, at least 3 and 4. Will have to "celebrate" it next year by playing some Persona again. Or something.
Now to finish up the little that's left of Persona q. No idea if I'll play through the P4 side, though it's tempting because the P3 protagonist will interact with Aigis a bit. Then again, he speaks. Yech. No Persona protagonist should EVER speak, but I understand they had to work it out somehow. Still, I've always had a hard time imagining Yuri Lowenthal's voice coming out from that mouth. Skilled as he is, some voices just don't fit. Meh, I'll give it a chance.
By the by, I sincerely recommend Q-tip's album The renaissance. One of the best albums I've heard in a while. Heard it when it was new, but it was evidently too awesome for me back then as I barely remember it.
Sorry for not writing as I hoped, Persona q happened.

Breath of fire 4 is still great!
It's been over 20 years, and this game holds up in just about every department except the 3D. Let me start from the beginning. Personally, I only played 3 and 2 back when they were still relatively new. Don't think I tried out 4 until like 6 years ago or so. While I wouldn't call it a masterpiece, it's definitely overlooked. I'm reluctant to talk about the story since it's one of the game's strong points. It has few good twists and turns and is one of the earlier examples of a sympathetic villain. It even has a twist that I did not see coming, though maybe a bit obvious in hindsight is still the right amount of dark and messed up. Let's look at the bad stuff. It takes forever to really get going. You begin with Nina and Cray in a desert, they flee from the sand dragon, come across Ryu, and then the story very slowly develop. And I do mean slowly. Originally, I didn't really get into the game due to its slow start and I kinda quit after a while. Glad I gave it another shot later.
The resurgence of Silent hill and Konami
Remember #FucKonami and how it was ok to hate them for nearly 10 years? Why should the announcement of a remake of Silent hill 2 undo that? It's not like they apologized or have made up for their mistakes. Hell, the remake is seemingly not even gonna be developed by them but a different company that happened to want to remake one of their classic games! Do not give shitty publishers even a cent, and most importantly, not a minute of your time.
Thoughts on every Ladybug season 5 episode!
Season 1: Season 2: Season 3: Season 4: Season 5: WARNING: MASSIVE SPOILERS AHEAD!!! Though I'll try to keep them brief. Evolution Another great start to a season! Pretty much exactly what I wanted and more. Unlike season 2, here we begin with Gabriel losing. Good contrast. While it makes sense that he'd start with the bunny miraculous, time travel episodes tend to be a bit iffy. However, this was done pretty well, since the reason Gabriel lost was because he was only thinking about beating Ladybug and not actually bothering to change his life for the better. It's also the first time we see his wife other than a picture/archive footage/in coma. Multiplication Not sure why they jump around time wise. For example, there's a later episode with the scene where Adrien tells Gabriel that he doesn't want to do modeling anymore, and the next episode shows just what the hell happened in the midst of this one. The hell are those rings? Stay tuned! Lame. Anyway, this episode is
Cult of the lamb is the best roguelike yet
Not that I've tried a shitton of them, but it's my two cents on it. For people who suck at video games like me, it's nice that it's a lot more forgiving (especially late game) and had a good simulation aspect. Very recommended, but you've probably already tried it already.

Really gotta see about hopping on the Persona band wagon sometime. So many games to try so little time, alas lol.
